Dan Jones joins the Nats as Head Goalie Coach for the organization and will be responsible for fundamental, technical and mental skill developement for each goalie. Jones has spent the last 3 years with the Syracuse Stars as a head coach and goalie coach. Before working with the Starts, Jones coached at the NCAA DIII level with SUNY Cortland for 2 seasons. While at Cortland, Dan earned a Masters degree in Exercise Science and brings a wealth of knowledge of both physical and mental training methods. Currently a personal trainer at Metro Fitness, Jones aslo runs a mental training business, ProMinded.
Prior to coaching, Jones played 4 seasons with SUNY Oswego, helping the team reach the 'Frozen Four' each season. A Toronto, Ontario native, Coach Jones played junior hockey in the OJHL where he was a two-time all-star.
